This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed in connection with: • visiting the website; • using the document generation tool; • purchasing paid features, where available; • requesting human review, where available; • contacting us by email.

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process the following categories of personal data: a) Information you submit This includes any information you choose to enter into the document generator, such as names, contact details, addresses, case descriptions, factual background, requested wording, and other text you provide. b) Contact data This includes your email address and any information you provide when contacting us or using a human review feature. c) Order and transaction data If you purchase a paid feature, we may process transaction-related information such as order identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, and limited billing metadata. Full payment card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by us. d) Technical and usage data This may include IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, timestamps, page interactions, request metadata, and similar technical data necessary for operation, security, and troubleshooting. e) Cookie and preference data This includes information stored in strictly necessary cookies and, where applicable, in optional analytics cookies based on your choices.

We process personal data for the following purposes: a) To provide the Service and generate documents you request Legal basis: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. b) To handle support requests and operational communications Legal basis: performance of a contract, pre-contractual steps, and/or our legitimate interest in responding to users and maintaining the Service. c) To maintain security, prevent abuse, debug issues, and ensure service integrity Legal basis: our legitimate interest in securing and operating the Service. d) To comply with legal obligations Legal basis: compliance with applicable law. e) To use optional analytics technologies where consent is required Legal basis: your consent.

Please do not provide more personal data than is necessary for your document. The Service is not intended for the routine submission of highly sensitive personal data or data relating to criminal convictions or offences unless such information is genuinely necessary for the document you want to prepare. If you choose to include personal data concerning other individuals, you are responsible for ensuring that you are entitled to provide that data for the relevant purpose.

a) Document generation When you submit information in the generator, that information may be transmitted to third-party infrastructure and AI providers solely for the purpose of generating the requested output and operating the Service. b) No persistent user document database For standard document generation, we do not maintain a persistent database of user-generated documents. However, information may be processed transiently in memory, logs, delivery systems, security systems, or by service providers where necessary for operation, security, troubleshooting, or abuse prevention. c) Human review If you use a human review feature, your submitted content and contact details may be processed for the purpose of completing that review and communicating with you about it. d) No sale of personal data We do not sell your personal data. e) No marketing use of case content We do not use the factual content you submit in your case for marketing purposes. f) No automated decision-making about you DocuGov.ai is a drafting tool. It does not make legal, financial, employment, insurance, or other similarly significant decisions about you.

We use: • strictly necessary cookies required for core functionality, security, purchase or session validation, and language preferences; and • optional analytics cookies or similar technologies only where you have provided any required consent. You can manage optional cookie preferences through the consent mechanism available on the website, where applicable.

To operate the Service, we may use third-party providers in the following categories: • AI providers; • hosting and infrastructure providers; • payment processors; • transactional email providers; • analytics and diagnostics providers. These providers may process personal data on our behalf or, depending on the service and context, under their own independent privacy terms.

Some providers we use may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on an appropriate legal mechanism under applicable data protection law, which may include an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism applicable to the relevant provider and transfer. We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, including: • information submitted for standard document generation: generally not kept by us in a persistent user document database; • technical and security data: for as long as reasonably necessary for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and operational integrity; • support and human review communications: for as long as necessary to complete the request and manage follow-up, disputes, or compliance; • order and transaction data available to us: for as long as required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and legal compliance; • analytics data: according to the configuration of the relevant tool and your consent choices, where applicable. Third-party providers may apply their own retention periods under their own terms and policies.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including measures such as: • encryption in transit; • access controls; • secured session or purchase validation mechanisms; • input validation; • rate limiting and abuse-prevention controls; • security monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to: • access your personal data; • rectify inaccurate personal data; • erase personal data; • restrict processing; • object to processing based on legitimate interests; • receive personal data in a portable format where applicable; • withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; • lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. Because the Service is designed to minimise persistent storage of ordinary generated content, in some cases we may have limited data available to retrieve, correct, or delete beyond transient processing records and provider-held records.
