⚠️ Important: We are not a law firm

DocuGov.ai is a productivity tool, not a legal service. Always verify documents and consult an attorney for important matters.

1. About the Service

DocuGov.ai is an AI-assisted platform for drafting formal, administrative, business, and other structured written documents. The Service is operated from Warsaw, Poland. Contact: docugov@docugov.ai

2. Nature of the Service

DocuGov.ai provides drafting assistance and productivity functionality. The Service helps users prepare text based on information they provide. DocuGov.ai does not act as a law firm, attorney, solicitor, advocate, notary, public authority, or regulated legal representative.

3. No Legal Advice

The Service does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, legal representation, or legal strategy. Nothing available through the Service should be understood as a promise or guarantee that any generated document: • is legally correct; • is complete; • is up to date in every jurisdiction; • will be accepted by any authority, court, institution, company, or third party; • or is appropriate for your specific situation without independent verification. Use of the Service does not create any lawyer-client, attorney-client, fiduciary, or similar professional relationship.

4. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if: • you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law; and • your use of the Service is lawful in the relevant jurisdiction. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to do so.

5. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for: • the content you submit to the Service; • ensuring that you are entitled to provide any personal, confidential, or third-party information you include; • reviewing, editing, and independently verifying any generated output before using, signing, sending, filing, publishing, or relying on it; • obtaining professional advice where your matter is legally complex, time-sensitive, high-value, regulated, or otherwise high-risk; • ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable law. You should not rely on generated output as a substitute for qualified professional review where such review is reasonably necessary.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service: • for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or harmful purposes; • to generate false, forged, misleading, defamatory, harassing, or malicious content; • to impersonate another person or misrepresent facts, authority, or identity; • to violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property rights, court orders, or regulatory obligations; • to interfere with, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; • to submit unnecessary highly sensitive personal data where the Service does not require it. We may suspend, restrict, or block use that appears unlawful, abusive, or inconsistent with these Terms.

7. Generated Content

You remain responsible for the information you provide as input. Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use output generated for you for your own lawful purposes. We do not guarantee that generated output: • is unique; • is free from factual or legal error; • is free from third-party claims; • or will remain accurate over time.

8. Human Review Features

If a human review feature is offered, it is limited to the scope described at the point of order. Unless expressly stated otherwise, human review: • is not legal representation; • is not a regulated legal service; • does not create a privileged professional relationship; • and does not guarantee legal correctness or a successful result.

9. Paid Features

Some features may require payment. Where paid features are offered: • the applicable price and key order terms will be shown before checkout; • payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers; • any order-specific terms presented at checkout or in the order flow form part of that transaction; • mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

10. EU Consumer Rights; Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason, subject to applicable exceptions and conditions under consumer law. However, where a paid feature constitutes digital content not supplied on a tangible medium or a digital service, and you request immediate delivery or immediate performance before the end of the withdrawal period, you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal may be lost once performance has begun or, where applicable, once the digital content has been fully supplied, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Where required by law, before immediate delivery or performance begins, we will request your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you may lose your right of withdrawal once delivery or performance starts or, where applicable, once the digital content has been fully supplied. We will provide confirmation of the contract and any legally required pre-contract information on a durable medium where required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.

11. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, workflows, supported document types, or supported jurisdictions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, continuous uptime, or error-free operation.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, interface elements, branding, prompts, workflows, and underlying materials, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by law or these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, resell, sublicense, distribute, or create derivative commercial products from the Service itself.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all warranties and representations, express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, reliability, or suitability for legal, regulatory, or procedural use.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Service, including loss of opportunity, loss of rights, loss of data, rejected submissions, missed deadlines, legal consequences, or administrative outcomes. To the extent liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount actually paid by you to us for the specific paid feature giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Termination or Suspension

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if: • you breach these Terms; • your use creates legal, security, abuse, or operational risk; • a third-party provider issue affects the Service; • or we decide to discontinue or materially change the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

16. Privacy

Use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to any mandatory rights that may apply to consumers under the law of their country of habitual residence where such rights cannot be excluded by contract.
